this is so cool. where can i get that giant yarn?!

044: yes there are things i'm still quite sure of.

i am excited for vacation. i know this because i am doing things like: purchasing a big floppy straw hat and making plans to wear it around all day-every day for the entire during week; making insanely long lists of things i want to read and things i want to knit for the seven glorious days that i don't have to work; impulsively buying sandals and black and white striped canvas flats (with red piping) that i think will go over well in the Catskills.

043: fine for now

summer has been getting in the way of the internet. that's ok.

there's vacation coming up in august, plus weekends of bikes and games and new sundresses. things are good right now.

i made pizza last night (including the crust) which, while more time consuming than i liked, turned out to be delish. even with the exploding kombucha that got sprayed on it.

043: honey in the sun for you

oh, i miss the sunlight. it was the longest day of the year yesterday, and still the sky was dark by 7pm, heavy with thunderstorms. sigh.

however, this is making me feel ok about the rain. grumpy park slope i already love you (but i will never buy that $7 iced coffee).other things of note:
1. why have i never heard of this before? and when can i go?!
2. food inc: oh right, that's why i didn't eat meat for 10 years. eep. maybe it's time to go back on the wagon.
3. my new iphone is f-ing brilliant. :)

there's nothing better than a sunset walk in the park after a maddening day. the sunlight through those pink flowers really got to me. they are even better when viewed large (on flickr).
